Director of Elections and IT for the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Edward Omane Boamah, has assured the party faithful of a robust monitoring plan for the deployment of election materials ahead of the 2024 general elections.

In a Facebook post issued on Thursday, 21st November, he emphasised the party’s commitment to ensuring a transparent and fair electoral process.

The assurance follows the recent commencement of election material deployment by the Electoral Commission.

Omane Boamah stressed the importance of this phase in the electoral process, stating that the NDC is closely observing each step to prevent any potential irregularities.

He reaffirmed the party’s determination to safeguard the integrity of the elections.

In his statement, the former Communications Minister revealed that the NDC's monitoring teams have been equipped with simple yet effective detection tools.

These tools are designed to assist in tracking and verifying the deployment of election materials, ensuring that the process aligns with expected standards of fairness and transparency.

He encouraged party members to remain focused and united, reiterating the party's commitment to securing a credible election outcome that reflects the will of the Ghanaian people.

"We admit that as the election day draws closer, the action gets closer and closer to you, all, in the regions, constituencies and the polling stations."

"This being the case, we trust that our hard-working EAGLEEYES teams across the country empowered with the necessary 'simple' detection tools will make us proud, as we coordinate from headquarters," he posted.
