Head coach of Legon Cities, Samuel Paa Kwesi Fabin, has made a striking admission, stating that the club lacks a dedicated fanbase.

The Royals often play their home games in an empty University of Ghana Stadium.

When asked by journalists to send a message to the team's supporters, he said, “Sometimes when you ask me to address our fans, I honestly don’t know who to speak to because, truthfully, Legon Cities don’t have fans."

The experienced coach made these remarks after his side staged an impressive comeback to secure a 2-1 victory against Ghana Premier League debutants, Berekum Holy Stars, in Week 11.

Fabin's comments underscore a unique challenge facing Legon Cities as they aim to climb out of the relegation zone and establish themselves as a competitive force in the Ghana Premier League.

Despite the win, Legon Cities’ campaign this season has been far from ideal. The Royals, who had a commendable performance last season, are now battling relegation.

With just three wins in the ongoing season, they find themselves in the bottom three of the league table.
