The chief made the call during former President Mahama's campaign tour to the Juaboso Constituency on Thursday, as part of his efforts to rally support in the Western North Region.

Addressing the NDC presidential candidate and party supporters at Sehwi Nkatieso, Nana Ofori Ahenkan II emphasized the strategic importance of the Western North Region to Ghana's development and the need for equitable distribution of resources and opportunities.

He highlighted the region's vast economic potential, particularly in agriculture, timber, and mineral resources, and called for policies that would enhance infrastructure, create jobs, and improve the livelihoods of the people.

He further expressed optimism that the proposed policy would bring industries and businesses closer to rural areas, ensuring the region benefits from enhanced economic activities and infrastructure development.

Meanwhile, the former president and NDC's presidential candidate, John Mahama assured the residents of the Western North Region that his second coming will complete all the abandoned projects hospitals, schools, markets, and others.
