Global sportswear giant Puma has unveiled the new home and away kits for the Ghana national football team ahead of the 2024/25 season.
The home kit retains the traditional white base, while the away kit shines in a vibrant yellow, reflecting the team's bold identity.
“Four-time Africa Cup of Nations winners Ghana are iconic in every sense, both in name and nature,” Puma said in a statement on their website.
The home jersey features a unique all-over pattern inspired by traditional Adinkra symbols, with a central black star completing the design. The away kit, also adorned with Adinkra motifs, celebrates Ghana’s rich cultural heritage, with yellow as the dominant color.
Ghanaian designer Jefferson Osei, who created the kits, sought to unite the country's diverse tribes through the designs.
Osei collaborated with renowned Ghanaian painter Daniel Alum Jasper, who crafted the graphic elements incorporating selected Adinkra symbols. These symbols, which represent unity, strength, and culture, resonate deeply with the various tribes of Ghana.

These kits were initially expected to be worn at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations. However, with Ghana’s qualification now uncertain, the team’s hopes of reaching the tournament are firmly out of their hands as they face Angola and Niger in the final two qualifiers.
