Reggae-dancehall artiste, Ras Kuuku has expressed his disappointment about the ungrateful nature of some young musicians.
Speaking to Andy Dosty on Daybreak Hitz, he explained that after these young artistes get into the limelight, they tend to be unappreciative or do not give him any reverence.
The reggae star added that "some artistes together with their management have reached out to me for help but once they get famous, then they cut all ties.”
He further cited Ghanaian rapper Yaa Pono, as one of the musicians who have also been through the same plight with young musicians he had helped climb the music ladder.
He added that deceased Ghanaian superstar Ebony Reigns was one of the artistes he helped to project into stardom but he was only given credit after she passed away.
That notwithstanding, Ras Kuuku is optimistic that their goods deeds will come to light some day.
“Although Yaa Pono and I aren’t shown any gratitude, the day will surely come,” he noted.
