The International Central Gospel Church (ICGC) is pleased to announce the second annual God Summit, taking place on November 14-15, 2024.
This pivotal conference is dedicated to deepening Christians' understanding of their faith through comprehensive presentations by two theologians.
This year, the summit will be held at the ICGC Christ Temple East in Teshie, Accra.
Bringing together pastors, theologians, and church members from around the world, the God Summit will feature a series of engaging discussions, workshops, and worship sessions designed to encourage critical thinking and a deeper connection to Scripture.
Day 1: Exploring the Depths of the Bible
The first day will focus on empowering participants to critically engage with the Bible. Renowned speakers will lead workshops covering topics such as biblical interpretation, historical context, and practical applications for everyday life. Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions and explore various themes, enhancing their understanding of Scripture and its relevance in contemporary society.
Day 2: Understanding the Nature of God
The second day will shift to understanding the nature of God, examining His attributes and what they mean for believers today. Esteemed theologians and church leaders will lead sessions on topics like God’s love, justice, and mercy, encouraging attendees to reflect on their personal relationship with the Divine.
Pastor Mensa Otabil, the conference host and General Overseer of ICGC emphasized
“The purpose of the God Summit is for Christians to not only know their faith but also to be equipped to defend it. It will be a time to delve into some of the questions believers often ask, such as the nature of God, the relevance of Scripture, and how we can live out our faith in today's world. The summit aims to empower believers to engage deeply with the truths of Christianity and strengthen their ability to stand firm in their beliefs."
