Asante Kotoko are looking to return to winning ways against Bechem United on Sunday in week 10 of the Ghana Premier League.
Kotoko, who were close to levelling points with leaders Gold Stars, are now on a three-game winless run, which sees them drop to third place, four points behind the top spot.
Pressure is mounting on the technical team, led by Prosper Narteh Ogum, as well as the players, with victory being the only way to ease the situation.
However, it appears the Porcupines must earn that victory the hard way as they enter the “lions' den” at the Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park, a venue where they haven’t won in eight years.
Bechem United, meanwhile, have had their own struggles this season, having won just twice and sitting in 10th place, three points above the relegation zone.
Despite their stuttering form, they will be emboldened by Kotoko’s recent struggles in front of goal and their nearly decade-long unbeaten record at home against the Porcupines.
