The young and vibrant Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Modern Floors and Walls and author of Dream Bigger, Basil David Anthony, has been honoured as ‘Ghana’s Outstanding Mentor of the Youth’ for his exemplary conduct and remarkable determination to achieve greatness from a young age.
This prestigious accolade reflects his dedication to hard work and commitment to advancing the manufacturing industry in Ghana, as well as his philanthropic efforts to uplift the youth across the country.
Under his guidance, the Basil David Anthony Foundation has made remarkable strides in empowering young Ghanaians and Africans by providing them with the resources they need to realize their entrepreneurial dreams.
One of his foundation’s key initiatives includes distributing free copies of his book, Dream Bigger, especially to students, to ignite their imaginations and equip them with the knowledge to succeed. The foundation also offers mentorship and apprenticeship programmes, empowering young people to build valuable skills for their future careers.
Through these initiatives, Basil has directly impacted the lives of many, instilling in them the confidence and skills necessary to pursue greatness. His contributions extend beyond mentorship to funding organizations that share his mission of inspiring the next generation of leaders in Ghana and across Africa.
The highest honour of ‘Mentor of the Youth’ also signifies Basil’s passion for breaking barriers, transforming businesses globally, and setting high standards for others to follow.
The 3rd edition of the Ghana Philanthropy Awards, held at the La Palm Royal Beach Hotel and organized by The Business Executive Group, seeks to recognize individuals and companies that play a significant role in promoting humanity’s growth and development, positively impacting their communities.
In a post-award interview after receiving this notable trophy, Basil David Anthony expressed that the award is a testament to his unwavering focus on meeting and exceeding expectations while adhering to high standards of quality and impact.
He extended his gratitude to his committed staff and partners for their continuous support, which enables them to deliver precise and trusted services to clients and industry peers. “This is indeed a big win for us at Modern Floors and Walls and a confidence booster for me. I started from humble beginnings, and reaching this milestone is truly overwhelming. My team and I will continue to work extremely hard for even bigger achievements ahead,” Basil noted.
He also took the opportunity to urge the youth to stay safe and vigilant as Ghana approaches the December 7th elections and encouraged both new and loyal clients to continue patronizing Modern Floors and Walls as the festive season approaches.
