Joseph Esso’s 70th minute penalty was enough to give Dreams FC a much needed 1-0 win over Medeama on Saturday.
Dreams, who had not won a game all season, went close on a couple of occasions in the first half but were unlucky.
Medeama, after suffering defeat at home last time out seemed content with claiming a point away from home.
But that wasn’t to be as Esso converted sweetly from the spot to condemn the Mauve and Yellow to their second straight defeat.
Dreams remain bottom of the table, despite the victory, with Medeama, remaining in 5th place, missing the opportunity to go past Asante Kotoko.
