Young Apostles return to Ghana Premier League action on Sunday, November 10, aiming to end Bibiani GoldStars' unbeaten start to the 2024/25 season.
The Miners sit at the top of the league table after nine games in the top flight with 19 points to their name.
Stephen Frimpong Manso's men have won five of their nine games with four stalemates in that period. They have also scored the second-most goals in the league (9) while conceding the joint-second least goals (4).
Young Apostles have had a shaky start to their maiden season in the Premier League but have had a strong home record. Both of their league wins have come at home, and they have also drawn two matches at the Wenchi Stadium.
Having only been promoted to the league this season, this will be the first-ever meeting between the two teams in the top flight.
GoldStars come into this fixture following their goalless draw against Dreams FC at home last weekend while Young Apostles are hoping to bounce back from their loss to Legon Cities earlier this week.
A win for GoldStars will keep them at the top of the league table three points clear of Nations FC (if the latter wins) while all three points for the home side will move them to the ninth position depending on other results.
Kickoff for the fixture is scheduled for 3:00 PM.
