Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, the Vice Presidential Candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has reaffirmed his confidence in Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia as the best leader to steer Ghana towards meaningful development.
Dr. Opoku Prempeh, widely known as NAPO, argued that Dr. Bawumia’s leadership offers a clear path to address the economic and social challenges currently facing Ghanaians.

He highlighted the party's focus on programmes aimed at improving the lives of Ghanaians, especially in the areas of economic growth, infrastructure, and social support.
NAPO appealed directly to the people of the Mamprugu area, urging them to support Dr. Bawumia, who hails from the North.
He encouraged them to rally behind their candidate in the upcoming December elections, expressing hope that Dr. Bawumia’s heritage and deep understanding of local issues would resonate with the community.
According to Dr. Opoku Prempeh, the NPP has consistently demonstrated its capacity to drive progress in Ghana.
He pointed to past accomplishments and ongoing initiatives under the party’s leadership as evidence of the NPP’s commitment to sustainable development and improving the quality of life for all Ghanaians.
Dr. Opoku Prempeh expressed his optimism that with Dr. Bawumia at the helm, Ghana would experience a new era of progress and stability.
He encouraged Ghanaians to place their trust in the NPP's vision, noting that Dr. Bawumia’s leadership would bring the unity and development needed to move the country forward.
“It is time that the president of Ghana must come from the Mamprugu land. The best person in the country now to lead us forward is Dr Mahamudu Bawumia."
“Every time God brings his own to lead the people. This is the time of Dr Bawumia. He is the only one prepared to lead Ghana into the future.”
