Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia and New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer, has extended support to the Tadzewu Zongo Muslim community in the Ketu North Municipality of the Volta Region.
He donated essential materials to aid in local development efforts.
The items, including 100 bags of cement, a water pump, and a Polytank, were delivered by Enoch Kwabla Amegbletor, the NPP Parliamentary Candidate for Ketu North, on behalf of Dr Bawumia.
According to Mr Amegbletor, the donation follows a recent visit by Dr Bawumia to Tadzewu Zongo, during which the community leaders expressed a need for materials to improve their local infrastructure.
Responding promptly to their request, the Vice President sought to demonstrate the NPP’s commitment to responsive and supportive leadership.
“This contribution is not just a response to a request, but a promise that this government and our party are here to listen and deliver,” Amegbletor noted.
The leaders and residents of the Zongo community expressed gratitude for the Vice President’s support, noting that such donations reinforce the connection between government and the people.
The materials are intended to support local projects aimed at enhancing the community’s infrastructure and water access.
Mr. Amegbletor highlighted the community’s excitement as evidence of the impact that direct, responsive leadership can have.
“The joy among the people here in Tadzewu shows that when leaders truly listen, it leads to real, meaningful change,” he said.
He emphasised the importance of continued collaboration and urged residents to join in supporting the NPP in the upcoming elections, promising that the party remains committed to furthering the development of Ketu North.
“I encourage all voters to stand with us as we work to bring positive change, ensuring that every community, like Tadzewu, receives the support and development it deserves,” he added.
“With your support, we can secure victory for myself and Dr Bawumia, and together, we will build a brighter future for Ketu North and all of Ghana.”
This donation is part of the NPP’s ongoing efforts to support under-resourced communities and improve infrastructure across the Volta Region, reaffirming the party’s commitment to inclusive development and community upliftment.
