Samuel Okang-Boye, the Head of Agri-Business at Stanbic Bank Ghana, who led the delegation from the bank during the donation, spoke on the importance of the agriculture sector to the country’s economy.
He said, “The Agric sector remains critical to the bank because of the pivotal role it plays in ensuring food security, nourishing families, and serving as the base for a number of industries. Africa is our home; and we drive her growth by supporting the sectors that are critical growth drivers. Agriculture is one such critical sector. It is also one of the major pillars of our responsibility to the society.”
