Ghana’s first niche artisan fragrance house, Maison Yusif, has provided hands-on mentorship and training to Junior High School (JHS) students, equipping them with valuable on-the-job skills.
The programme supported talented students who have recently graduated from JHS and are now preparing for Senior High School.
As part of its corporate social responsibility, Maison Yusif mentored these students for four months, offering training in entrepreneurship, marketing, advertising, and public relations—fields that are rarely accessible even at the university level.
Upon completing the programme, students receive internship certificates to assist them in future job applications.
Founder of Maison Yusif, Yusif Meizongo Jnr expressed gratitude for the opportunity to share knowledge with the next generation and acknowledged the support received throughout the programme.
Maison Yusif on October 27, 2024, launched nine new perfumes in a single day, becoming the first in Africa to achieve such a feat at the Marriott Hotel in Accra.
This historic unveiling marked a new chapter in African perfumery, showcasing a rich blend of creativity, culture, and craftsmanship.
The nine unique perfumes, each carefully crafted to evoke emotion and reflect the beauty of culture, confidence, and adventure included The Black Excellence, The Voyager, The Empress, If Sex Was a Perfume, De Ja Vu, Tulaale, El Patron, Take Me To Paris Exclusif and Supernova.
The launch of nine fragrances in a single day was unprecedented for a niche fragrance house on the continent, signaling the brand’s ambition to make a lasting mark on the global stage.
Each fragrance captured a unique narrative, with scents that evoke nostalgia, adventure, romance, and empowerment. From bold and provocative aromas to blends reflecting Ghana’s vibrant traditions, the collection embodies sophistication, strength, and charisma.
