Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Presidential Candidate, has renewed his commitment to generating millions of jobs if elected in Ghana’s 2024 general elections.
He emphasised that job creation would be a key focus of his administration to address unemployment and strengthen the economy.
Speaking at a youth-centred event titled “Engagement with the Youth” on Sunday, November 3, Dr. Bawumia underscored the importance of youth empowerment in driving Ghana’s economic recovery.
He pledged that his leadership would prioritize opportunities for young people, aiming to position them as a driving force in the nation’s progress.
Dr. Bawumia highlighted his vision to build a robust economy where the youth are equipped with the skills and resources needed to thrive.
By focusing on job creation, Dr Bawumia said he hopes to foster long-term economic growth and ensure a prosperous future for Ghana’s younger generations.
“I will outline the bold economic solutions we plan to roll out which will make it possible to create millions of jobs if I’m given the mandate on December 7. I have chosen this occasion to remind you the young people of the commitment made a year ago to make you my number one priority."
“My commitment is to transform Ghana to build on the economic recovery we are witnessing by introducing bold business-friendly policy initiatives from January 2025, which are designed to stimulate significant economic activities.”
