Joy Prime’s culinary reality television show comes your way this week with more excitement, fun, and drama in the kitchen.
The remaining contestants will tackle the “Chanel Rice” task to impress the judges and hopefully dodge eviction.
Last Sunday saw six teams battle it out in the kitchen, undertaking the indomie and flavour infusion task. All teams were given 30 minutes in the kitchen to prepare their meals.
Representatives of Ho Technical University, Sherifa, and Jones, who emerged as “Star School of the Day” the week before, were given the opportunity to choose between cooking with other teams and sitting out the cooking to supervise the teams while they cook instead of the judges.
Both contestants chose to cook as they believed they had great potential to impress the judges with their meals and sweep the weekly title again.
Unfortunately, things did not go as planned for Ho Technical University and the other five teams, as they failed to impress Chef Sam, Chef Rafiatu, and Nutritionist Rejoice with their meals.
The Judges expressed their disappointment at how badly they all performed in the kitchen and denied them the chance to be awarded “Star School of the Day." News about representatives of Bolgatanga Technical University, Mabel, and Baraka exiting from the kitchen sent shock waves amongst contestants, leaving a gloomy atmosphere in the kitchen.
The remaining five teams were cautioned and advised to go back to their drawing boards and come up with creative ways to tackle tasks. They also encouraged them to work together as a team, as competition will only get tough as weeks go by.
This Sunday, the remaining 5 contestants are back in the kitchen to right their wrongs and hopefully impress the judges with their hot sizzling meals. They take on the “Chanel Rice” challenge, and they are prepared to show the judges the skill they can display in the kitchen.
Which tertiary institution will rise to the occasion and impress the judges, and which team’s meal will disappoint the judges?
