JoySports Invitational silver medal winners Emigoh Ghana say they have already begun training for another exciting edition of the tournament in 2025.
Emigoh Ghana finished second out of 29 participants in the football competition, to clinch silver after defeat on penalties to Cosa-Bright at the University of Ghana Stadium.
Following that feat at the event organised by JoySports with their support and others including the Minerals Commission, McDan Group, The Luckiest, Skechers, Peeva Beverages, and Caveman Watches, their Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Stephen Eku, donated his October salary to the team.
"We came in for the gold, the first prize. We did our best, fought till the end, and at the end of the day won silver. Our CEO surprised us with one month salary and we received it,” Emigoh Ghana football coach Frank Ohemeng Boakye told JoySports.
"We have started training for next year's competition and we are poised for action. We are motivated and fully prepared for the next edition.”
The CEO, Mr. Stephen also promised his “three-month salary” if they claim gold next year.
In reaction, Head of Marketing for Emigoh Ghana, Gifty Adjei-Fianko also said: "It was exciting.
“This is the first time we are coming back [JoySports Invitational] after many years. We have started putting our team together because of the promise our CEO gave us of three months’ salary. It is going to be massive.”
Gifty also provided insights about Yomi Yoghurt and its benefits.
“Emigoh Ghana Limited has been in existed for about two decades and our flagship brand is Yomi Yoghurt.
“Life is full of choices, the choices you make today can shape your tomorrow. So we are saying choose Yomi, whether as breakfast, mid-day snack or a desert, we are here to nourish you."
