G7 Security Systems Limited hosted its Annual Staff Durbar in Accra, where CEO and Managing Director Mac-Reuben Kumah pledged the company’s dedication to safeguarding clients through the upcoming election season and Christmas festivities.

He stated that G7’s mission transcends traditional security, aiming to create a trustworthy environment by offering reliable, proactive solutions.

“Our approach to security is centred on making our clients feel truly safe and assured,” Mr Kumah stated, explaining that G7 tailors its services to tackle the unique challenges facing residential and commercial clients.

As Ghana approaches the elections, G7 is amplifying its support for national security efforts, coordinating closely with the Ghana Police Service to help prevent unrest and secure client sites.

Mr. Kumah outlined G7’s strategic initiatives for election and holiday preparedness, which include risk assessments, advanced surveillance technology, real-time response systems, and strict access control.

Highlighting the expertise of G7’s team, he remarked, “Our officers are highly trained to handle situations with professionalism and empathy, ensuring readiness to act swiftly during this crucial period.”

To enhance client security, G7 has ramped up training, deployed additional standby officers, and ensured 24-hour monitoring through a dedicated control room.

These efforts provide comprehensive, on-site security coverage with an integrated approach, strengthening client confidence and peace of mind. Confidentiality and professionalism, Mr Kumah emphasised, are central to G7’s success and client trust.

Reflecting on the challenges within Ghana’s security industry, Mr Kumah discussed issues like low service charges and the need for stricter policy enforcement.

He pointed to G7’s strong growth prospects, especially with rising demand from multinational firms, government bodies, and NGOs.

During the event, Mr. Kumah presented awards to exemplary employees, acknowledging their hard work and adherence to company protocols.

The Deputy Managing Director, Mr. Jakper Kofi Kakariba, echoed this sentiment, stressing that G7’s recognition system rewards substantial contributions rather than tenure alone.

“This year’s Staff Durbar has redefined our culture,” Kakariba noted, “as we encourage open communication and celebrate employees who embody G7’s values.”

Guest speakers included Mr. Simon Yao Seglah, Physical Security Officer at Absa, who highlighted the importance of professionalism and vigilance as the 2024 elections approach.

He emphasised the security team’s role as the first line of defence, especially after hours, urging officers to maintain impartiality and a high standard of conduct.

Additionally, D.O. III Nathan Ayisi, Operations Commander at Abelemkpe Fire Station, led a training session on emergency procedures and advanced firefighting techniques.

He reminded participants of essential fire safety equipment, such as extinguishers and alarms, which are critical to workplace safety.

The Annual Staff Durbar reinforced G7 Security Systems’ dedication to securing Ghana’s communities, celebrating the contributions of its employees, and preparing rigorously for the high-stakes months ahead.
