Aduana FC staged an impressive comeback against Medeama SC in a thrilling Week 8 Ghana Premier League, but the encounter was cut short by heavy rain, leaving both sides to settle for a 2-2 draw at the Nana Agyemang Badu Park.
Medeama initially took control with goals from David Boison and Derrick Fordjour, giving the former league champions a comfortable two-goal cushion.
However, Aduana refused to back down, launching a spirited fightback that saw Silas Kyeremeh and Abdul Latif Bamba score twice in two minutes to level the scores.
Just as the game was building towards a tense finale, the skies opened up, flooding the field and making play impossible. With three minutes left on the clock, the referee halted the match as conditions became unplayable.
The game is set to resume at 9 a.m. local time on Monday, October 28, 2024.
The postponed conclusion promises an exciting finish, as Aduana looks to complete their remarkable comeback and Medeama aims to restore their lead.
