The New Patriotic Party (NPP) Volta Regional Secretary, Pope Yao Yevoo has expressed confidence in the Volta Region continues faith in his party.
He said that the magnitude of people from the region who thronged the various rallies and meeting points of the NPP Presidential Candidate, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia is a manifestation to his assertion.
He is optimistic this would translate into votes and help the elephant fraternity win the upcoming December 7th general elections.
“We are convinced beyond measure that the Volta Region will keep faith with the NPP and will vote massively for our Presidential and Parliamentary Candidates on December 7, 2024”, he stated in a press release copied to Myjoyonline.com.
Mr. Yevoo expressed appreciation from the regional hierarchy of the party to all and sundry who sacrificed their time to meet and listen to message of hope from Dr. Bawumia.
“The NPP Volta Regional Executive Committee led by the Regional Chairman, Hon. Makafui Kofi Woanyah, wishes to express its manifold gratitude to the Chiefs, the Clergy, the Moslem Community and the good people of the Volta Region for the warm reception you gave the 2024 NPP Presidential Candidate, HE Dr. Alhaji Mahamudu Bawumia on his tour of the Region.
“Your warm reception, words of wisdom and encouragement are testaments of your resolve to help change the narrative in the Volta Region. ”, he said.
He extended an appreciation to the NPP Executives and his stelwats for their show of love and enthusiasm to help the NPP break the eight-year jinx of recycling of power between the governing party and the National Democratic Congress.
“We are also grateful to our Parliamentary Candidates, Constituency Chairmen and their Executives, Electoral Area Coordinators, Polling Station Executives, our dedicated members and sympathizers for your show of love and battle-readiness”, he said.
