The draw for the football competition at this year's Joy Sports Invitational will take place at 9am Thursday morning, ahead of the competition on Saturday October 26, 2024, at the University of Ghana Stadium.
The draw, which will be broadcast live on the Joy Prime TV Channel and the Joy News TV channel, will pitch 26 companies against each other in a straight knock-out competition that will start at at a round of 26 all the way to the final.
The football competition has historically been one of the most competitive activities at the Joy Sports Invitational, and this year will be no different, with many corporate institutions poised to show off their best skills.
Companies that will enter Thursday's draw include The luckiest, McDan Group, Peeva Beverages, Emigoh Ghana, Minerals Commission, IS Evolutions Consult, National Insurance Commission, Axis Pension Trust, Sapholda Ventures Limited and Piwak.
Others include Labadi Beach Hotel, Nationwide Technologies, ARB Apex Bank PLC, Adansi Travels, Aramex Jetlink Flight Support, Sawer-Nanor and Sons and Premier Health Insurance.
The rest are MultiChoice Ghana, National Petroleum Authority, Zenith Bank, OMNIBSIC Bank, Ideal Air Services Limited, Republic Bank and host team, The Multimedia Group.
The draw will be hosted by Joy Sports Editors, Fentuo Tahiru Fentuo and Nathaniel Attoh, with representatives from the various companies present.
