Ghanaian youngster Kwame Poku was an unsung hero in Peterborough United's league win over Blackpool on Tuesday night.
The forward was involved in two goals on the night as his side claimed a 5-1 home win over Blackpool in the English League One.
The home side took the lead early in the game through Malik Mothersille after eight minutes following a pass from Joel Randall.
The two players combined nine minutes later for the second goal, this time, Randall getting on the scoresheet from a Mothersille assist.
On the 28th-minute mark, Poku registered his seventh goal of the season as he scored to make it 3-1, one minute after Blackpool had reduced the deficit.
After the break, Peterborough scored their fourth through an own goal before Poku set up Randall for his second goal of the game to finish the encounter 5-1.
With his two-goal involvements on Tuesday, the 23-year-old has now been directly involved in 11 goals in the league this season in 13 games, seven less than his total tally in the competition last season.
