Ghanaian youngster Cornelius Mawuli Agbenyegah has completed an exciting move from Shabab Al Ahly FC to top-tier UAE Pro League side Al-Ittihad Kalba.
The 20-year-old forward, who can also play as an attacking midfielder and is popularly known as "Cikay," caught the attention of Al-Ittihad Kalba after an impressive loan spell at Emirates FC.
Known for his versatility and exceptional skill set, Cornelius made his mark with key goals and assists, and he is expected to make a significant impact at his new club.
His left foot, often likened to Ghanaian legend Sulley Muntari, combined with his pace and fluidity, draws comparisons to French icon Thierry Henry.
Cornelius Agbenyegah began his football journey with Ghanaian academy Top Talents before a stint at MSK Zilina African, a second-division side.
He later featured for Brazilian club Gremio Novorizontino, where he developed his craft before embarking on his international career.
With fearless performances both on and off the ball, Agbenyegah has become known for his impeccable dribbling, game vision, and precise passing.
He is also a deadly finisher, capable with both feet and renowned for his ability in set-piece situations, often curling free kicks past even the toughest defensive walls.
The young forward will be eager to make an immediate impact at Al-Ittihad Kalba as he prepares for his debut.
