Workers of the Northern Electricity Distribution Company (NEDCo) have staged another protest against the Energy Bill in Parliament seeking to merge the Volta River Authority (VRA), NEDCo and the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG).
This is the second time in a month that the staff of NEDCo are protesting against the bill.

Addressing the media in Tamale after a protest march, the Northern Area Senior Staff Association, Chairman Emanuel Asare said they will continue to protest until the government meets their demands.
