The flagbearer of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) for election 2024, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, has expressed confidence in the party's chances of securing victory in the 2024 general elections.
Speaking to a crowd of enthusiastic supporters at Nkawkaw in the Eastern Region, on Saturday, October 19, Dr Bawumia assured that the NPP is well-positioned to win both the presidential race and a majority in Parliament.
Dr Bawumia revealed that his campaign efforts, coupled with data collected from over 200 constituencies, show a clear path to success.
He highlighted that the momentum leading up to the December 7 election strongly favours the NPP, giving them an edge over their competitors.
The NPP flagbearer stressed the importance of maintaining unity within the party, emphasising that internal cohesion will be key to securing a decisive win at the polls.
He urged all party members to work together to ensure victory for the NPP in both the presidential and parliamentary elections.
Dr Bawumia concluded by calling on supporters to stay committed and focused, as the party builds on its momentum to achieve an overwhelming triumph in 2024.
“We will meet them in the constituency, we will meet them at the polling stations and what I can assure you from what I know after visiting over 200 constituencies, I have campaigned on the ground, I have seen the data and I can assure you that if we vote today, the NPP will have a decisive majority in Parliament."
“There’s no doubt about it. If we vote today, the NPP will have a decisive majority, not a majority, but a decisive majority in Parliament. But we will not vote today. We will vote on December 7."
“If it continues like this and we all come together, by midnight on December 7, you will all hear that the NPP has a decisive majority in Parliament. We will win at the polling stations, so you all should vote for us,” he stated.
