In a passionate address to the Zongo community at Akwatia in the Eastern Region, Abubakar Saddique Boniface, the former Zongo Minister and a prominent member of the Movement for Change, strongly criticized the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP).
His speech resonated deeply with the gathered crowd, including Zongo chiefs and community members, as he voiced his concerns about the current state of affairs under the NPP's governance.
Mr Boniface asserted, "The current state of our lives is evidence of the failure of the ruling party," urging the community to reflect on their experiences over the past years. He emphasized the need for change, stating, "It's time to make the right decision for yourselves, your families, and the future of your community."
The event saw a warm welcome for the caravan led by Mrs. Kyerematen, which included local leaders such as the Mosi chief and the Dagomba chief, alongside a special prayer group that prayed for the community's well-being.
During his address, Boniface Saddique appealed for the community's support in the upcoming elections, stressing the Movement for Change's commitment to uplifting disadvantaged communities.
He outlined the party's clear vision and initiatives aimed at addressing the challenges faced by the Zongo community and beyond.
