Medeama SC's unbeaten run in the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League season came to a halt on Sunday, as they fell 2-0 to Bechem United at the Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park.
The Mauve and Yellow found themselves behind early, with Dalvin Yeboah opening the scoring just five minutes into the game.
Emmanuel Abban doubled the home side's advantage with a well-taken strike in the 43rd minute, putting the match beyond reach for Medeama.
Despite some efforts to claw their way back into the game, Medeama struggled to break down a resolute Bechem United defence.
The loss means Medeama are now winless in their last three matches, raising concerns about their form after a strong start to the season.
The victory for Bechem United, on the other hand, propels them to 9th place on the league table, providing a much-needed boost to their campaign.
