ADB celebrates customers with health walk in Kumasi

The impact of banking extends beyond financial transactions; it shapes communities and empowers individuals.

This was the message conveyed at the Customer Appreciation Health Walk organised by Agricultural Development Bank (ADB) in Kumasi, which is to foster a stronger bond between the bank and its clientele.

"Many of our clients come from this region, so we thought this time we would meet them in the middle," said Eno Ofori-Atta, Deputy Managing Director of ADB.

"We want our customers to know we are here for them, and that they should not be afraid. We are ready to support them," he added.

The health walk, attended by hundreds of customers and staff, symbolized the bank’s commitment to the well-being of its clients.

Felix Sagoe Eshun, Area Manager for the Bono, Ashanti, and Ahafo regions, explained, "This event is part of our customer service week. We want our customers to stay healthy and continue doing business with us. It’s about appreciating them while promoting a healthy lifestyle."

The participation from customers was impressive, with Felix saying, "This is the first of its kind in the Ashanti region, and the turnout has been impressive."

He expressed gratitude for the support and mentioned the importance of maintaining strong relationships with customers.

"Without our customers, we are not ADB. We rely on them for our survival, and we will continue to provide the best customer care."

Kumasi was chosen as the location for the walk to reflect the bank's intention to reach out to a broader audience.

"We felt it was expedient to move to Kumasi first before considering other areas. The patronage has been wonderful, and we are thankful for their support," he explained.

Frank Okyere Adarkwah, representing the retail division, pointed out that the bank has tailored products for various customer segments, from retail to corporate clients.

"We have diversified products to meet the needs of all our customers, including programs for consumer finance, asset finance, and various e-channel services," he said.

The health walk is not a one-off event but part of a larger commitment to customer engagement.

"This program is conducted every year, and October is our designated customer service month. We have activities throughout the week across all 87 branches, where staff and executives connect with customers to ensure they feel valued and appreciated," Felix explained.

Through initiatives like the Customer Appreciation Health Walk, ADB Bank is reinforcing its role in the financial sector and emphasizing the importance of health and community engagement.
