The Ghana Youth Agriculture Summit is set to take place on October 25, 2024.
The gathering will bring together key stakeholders to discuss how to maximize opportunities in the agriculture sector to drive Ghana’s development.
Speakers at the event will focus on empowering the youth to venture into, sustain, and grow their careers in agriculture.
Convened by Evans Kyere-Mensah, an award-winning farmer, the event will garner the support of other industry players to implement well-thought-out policies for Ghana and Africa.
This year’s summit, scheduled for Friday, October 25, at UPSA, will also aim to equip the youth to become self-sustaining agricultural entrepreneurs.
Notable speakers include Deputy Agric Minister Yaw Frimpong Addo, CEO of NEIP Kofi Ofosu Nkansah, Lawyer and Entrepreneur Joyce Bawah Mogtari, Prof. Irene Egyir from the University of Ghana’s Faculty of Agriculture, and several other seasoned agricultural experts.
