Head coach of the Black Stars, Otto Addo, says he cannot guarantee his side will beat Sudan in their 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier.
Ghana host Sudan at the Accra Sports Stadium on Thursday on matchday three of the qualifying series looking to turn their qualifiers around. The Black Stars have one point from two games against Angola and Niger.
The Black Stars sit third in the group and a win against Sudan could take them above the Falcons of Jediane.
Asked about the possibility of the Black Stars picking up all three points, Addo said, "I think there is no assurance for anything...but there is a high probability that we will win."
"It comes with preparations, with consciousness...for me, even when I was playing to get is always on the other side of fear. I fear God but that is it, for me I am fearless.
"If our players will have that attitude and show passion and they will be fearless, I am sure that the probability is very high that we will win."
He, however, added that football can spring a lot of surprises.
"Nevertheless, and this is also why we love football; in football, anything can happen," he added.
"I know how difficult it can be, but the probability that we lose is very low. If we do our homework, if we are concentrated and if we play together as a team...if the players work together as a team and fulfil what our plan and tactics are against Sudan."
The game against Sudan is scheduled for a 4pm kickoff while the reverse fixture is set for Tuesday, October 15.
