Stonebwoy's wife, Dr. Louisa Satekla, has made donations to a Stonebwoy fan whose hand got amputated after he was involved in a motor accident.
On Tuesday, October 8, 2024, Stonebwoy's wife, upon hearing the news, visited the fan named Samiru Laryea (Bhim Bwoy) at the Surgical and Plastic Unit of the Bu Teaching Hospital.
Explaining the motive behind the gesture, Dr. Louisa told Joy FM's entertainment journalist Kwame Dadzie that "he's a fan who had accident on Thursday while going about his day which led to the amputation. We just supported him because he is a big fan."
"We donated an amount of money to cover his expenses as well as some packs of water, drinks and toiletries," she added.
Although Stonebwoy was not present, he also spoke to the fan on phone, encouraged him, and promised to visit him.
The donation was done in the name of Livingstone Foundation, an initiative by the musician that has over the years offered various forms of support to the underprivileged in society.
Reports say, the fan, a loctician, had packed his motor bike at Korle Gorno to urinate, when another bike hit him.
