FirstBank Ghana has been honoured with multiple prestigious awards at the media launch of the 2023 Ghana Customer Satisfaction Index Report and Recognition Ceremony, organised by the Chartered Institute of Marketing Ghana (CIMG).

The event took place at the Coconut Grove Regency Hotel in Accra on Friday, September 26, 2024, and celebrated outstanding service delivery across the banking industry.

At the ceremony, FirstBank Ghana received the following accolades; Best Bank in Service Quality Consumer Banking, 5-Stars in Customer Satisfaction Consumer Banking, 5-Stars in Service Quality Business Banking, and Second Runner Up in Customer Satisfaction Business Banking.

These awards reflect FirstBank’s unwavering commitment to providing exceptional customer experiences across its consumer and business banking segments. The recognition is a testament to the Bank’s dedication to excellence, customer satisfaction, and innovative banking solutions tailored to the needs of its diverse clientele.

The awards were presented by prominent figures in the banking and financial sectors, including, Dr. Kwasi Osei-Yeboah, Head of Financial Stability at the Bank of Ghana, Mrs. Audrey Mnisi Mireku, Banking Operations, Risk & Cyber Security Executive at the Ghana Association of Banks and Mr. Robert Dzato, CEO of the Chartered Institute of Banks.

Representing FirstBank Ghana at the ceremony were senior executives who received the awards on behalf of the Bank, including Allen Quaye, Head of Retail Banking, Jamila Munkaila, Area Manager for Accra West, Bennet Frimpong, Retail Marketing Manager, Agatha Nketsia, Head of Enterprise Process Improvement, and Enoch Vanderpuye, Country Team Lead for Marketing & Corporate Communications.

FirstBank Ghana’s recognition in the 2023 Ghana Customer Satisfaction Index is a direct result of the Bank’s relentless efforts to enhance its customer service delivery. Over the past year, FirstBank has implemented several initiatives aimed at improving the customer journey, including digital banking innovations, improved branch efficiency, and continuous staff training programs focused on elevating service quality.
