Berekum Chelsea recorded a narrow 1-0 win over Young Apostles FC at home on Sunday.
The newly promoted Young Apostles went into the game in high spirits, after claiming 4 points from their last two outings against Kotoko and Aduana.
Chelsea, on the other hand, were fresh from their 1-1 draw against Kotoko in their previous outing and were determined to kick on from that result.
In a closely contested affair, it was Mezack Afriyie's 72nd strike that separated the two teams at the Golden City Park.
The result takes Chelsea to 6th on the table, just 3 points off leaders Kotoko, while Young Apostles drop to 11th.
