Cassona Global Imaging Limited, a leading distributor of advanced medical imaging technology in Ghana and across Africa, has equipped a newly established teaching clinical laboratory centre for Klintaps College of Health and Allied Sciences, to enhance the training of allied health professionals.
This state-of-the-art medical imaging diagnostic learning center in Klagon-Accra will offer diagnostic services, including X-ray, ultrasound, and medical laboratory services while providing hands-on training for Klintaps students.
The Chief Executive Officer of Cassona Global, John Chigbu, emphasised that Cassona is aware of the dire need for ultramodern medical diagnostic equipment for training professionals as well as across health institutions on the continent. Therefore, the brand is committed to providing the latest and most advanced medical imaging solutions to institutions to address the challenge.
“We are very excited to partner with Klintaps to establish the first-of-its-kind imaging diagnostic Centre in Ghana. Understanding the critical role that quality medical imaging equipment plays in effective healthcare; we are committed to tirelessly providing our clients with the latest devices. This dedication enables early diagnosis and significantly improves patient outcomes,”, he said.
He added that Cassona has highlighted skilled professional staff that collaborate with top manufacturers from around the world to bring the best medical imaging devices to its clients.
“Our technical support team provides continuous training and support to ensure our clients get the most out of their investment,” he added.
Klintaps took the launch event as an opportunity to showcase the center's cutting-edge technology, which is set to revolutionise non-invasive medical diagnostics and significantly enhance patient care and well-being to the public.
Founder of Klintaps College of Health and Allied Sciences, Prof. Philip Narteh Gorleku, in his address said: “As a passionate believer of equity in healthcare, I am pleased that the training of our radiographers and radiologists on this state-of-the-art technology will ensure that socio-economic status of our patients does not become a barrier towards the attainment of quality healthcare because of their inability to afford diagnostic imaging services”.
“At Klintaps, our north star is providing students with world-class training. We believe this partnership with Cassona unveiling this medical imaging diagnostic center will help Klintaps continue to make a difference in the lives of not only our students but patients across the country,” he added.
Cassona Global Imaging’s products range from imaging equipment such as MRI, CT Scanners, and Mammograms from the United States to equipment, such as X-ray and Ultrasound machines from the People’s Republic of China.
