Young Apostles picked up their first three points of the Ghana Premier League following their win over Aduana Football Club.
Rurf Abdul Rahman scored twice in the dying embers of the game to seal a 3-2 win for the newly promoted side at the Wenchi Sports Stadium.
Mohammed Moftaw opened the scoring for Young Apostles after 23 minutes played before Emmanuel Marfo got Aduana back on level terms four minutes later.
Moftaw scored again just before the break to give the Dormaa-based outfit the lead at halftime.
After the break, the new entrants found their play and dominated in the opening stages but were unable to penetrate into the defence of Aduana.
However, just minutes away from the full-time whistle, Abdul Rahman came to the party. He scored twice in two minutes to restore the lead for Young Apostles.
The forward netted his first in the 88th minute before adding his second in the 90th minute to wrap up the win for the Wenchi-based.
The victory sees them become the latest promoted club to pick up a win since the start of the season with Basake Holy Stars and Vision FC all claiming wins.
