Asante Kotoko face a daunting challenge against a bogey side in Berekum Chelsea at the Golden City Park, looking to return to winning ways in week four of the Ghana Premier League.
After an impressive away victory over Karela United in their opener, the Porcupines stumbled to a frustrating 1-1 draw at home against newly promoted Young Apostles at their adopted ground, Len Clay Stadium.
It took a late 75th-minute strike from Emmanuel Antwi to rescue a point for the Porcupine Warriors after Daniel Lomotey had put the visitors ahead.
The final whistle was met with palpable displeasure from the home supporters, who were not satisfied with just a point as they sit fourth in the standings.
Coach Prosper Narteh Ogum, who clinched the title two seasons ago, is determined to appease the Kotoko faithful with a much-needed victory against a potential banana skin in Chelsea, who themselves boast a Premier League winner in coach Samuel Boadu.
The Blues have a similar start to the season with Kotoko, having picked up four points and sit fifth on the table.
Both teams have outstanding matches with Nsoatreman following the latter’s involvement in the CAF Confederation Cup.
