The acting Director of Social Communication for the Catholic Archdiocese of Accra, Brother Stephen Domelevo, has passed away, as confirmed by the Society of Divine Word (SVD).
His death occurred on Thursday, September 26, at the University of Ghana Medical Centre (UGMC).
Brother Stephen was well-known for his role as the presenter of "Catholic Digest," a program that aired on Ghana Television (GTV) every Saturday morning from 6:00 AM to 6:30 AM.
His engaging presentations made the programme popular among viewers, contributing significantly to the promotion of Catholic values and teachings.
In addition to his media contributions, the late Stephen Domelevo was also recognised as the senior brother of former Auditor General Daniel Yaw Domelevo, a notable figure in Ghana’s public service.
His passing is a significant loss to the Catholic community and the broader society, as he had a lasting impact through his work and dedication.
Tributes are expected to pour in as many mourn the loss of a respected and beloved figure in the Church and media landscape.
