Tanzanian giants Simba Queens have officially announced the appointment of Yussif Basigi as the club's new head coach.
Basigi joins the club on a one-year deal after leaving Ghana Women's Premier League side Hasaacas Ladies.
The 52-year-old will look to add her expertise to the Tanzanian side who are looking to continue their dominance in the domestic league and make strides on the continent.
Basigi led the Hasmal Ladies to their first league title in 2013 in his first year in charge beating Fabulous Ladies in the final.
He went on to win the league four times in his subsequent stay at the club and won the inaugural edition of the WAFU B Women's Champions League.
His rich history with the Takoradi-based side includes leading them to the final of the first edition of the CAF Women's Champions League which was played in Egypt.
