On October 11, the Jubilee Park in Koforidua will be full of excitement as AgroFusion 2024 sets the stage for a groundbreaking moment in Ghana’s agricultural landscape.

The much-anticipated launch of the Ghana Grows Changing Narratives Book will take place, marking a pivotal chapter in the country’s agricultural story.

This book, more than just a collection of stories, is a vivid showcase of the transformation agriculture is undergoing in Ghana.

For too long, the sector has been seen through the narrow lens of hard labour and limited opportunities, but the Ghana Grows Program—led by the Mastercard Foundation and the Springboard Road Show Foundation—has been on a mission to shift that perspective.

Now, the stories of innovation, entrepreneurship, and success are ready to be told.

Executive Directors Comfort and Albert Ocran expressed their enthusiasm for extending the reach of the Ghana Grows Program through this book.

It captures the inspiring journeys of over 200 young Ghanaians—women, men, and persons with disabilities—who are redefining what agriculture means and showcasing the sector's potential to transform lives and communities.

These stories highlight how young minds are using their entrepreneurial skills to reshape the agribusiness value chain, creating jobs and boosting incomes.

From women breaking cultural barriers to lead in agribusiness, to young men turning local crops into thriving ventures, and persons with disabilities proving that agriculture is for everyone—this book is a testament to the power of determination and innovation.

The launch at AgroFusion 2024 will not just be a celebration of the book, but a call to young people across Ghana to see agriculture as a path to success and financial independence.

With performances by top stars like Kwame Eugene, Dope Nation, Lasmid, and more, Jubilee Park will come alive with energy, music, and a showcase of what agriculture has to offer.

The Ghana Grows Changing Narratives Book is more than just a publication—it’s a manifesto for change, a testament to youth empowerment, and a vision of a future where agriculture leads the way to innovation and growth in Ghana.
