The Liberal Party of Ghana's (LPG) Parliamentary Candidate for Keta Constituency in the Volta Region, Yayra Kwashie Kwawu has said he is confident he will make an impact in the December 7th polls.
He, however, urged the people of Keta to give the mandate to another political party, especially himself and the LPG.
Speaking to the media after the 2024 manifesto launch of the LPG in Ho on Saturday, September 20, 2024, Yayra Kwashie said, "There will be a total change in the communities. Yes, it is time they try another person, and that is me".
He added, "You heard my president [LPG flagbearer] say I am vibrant. It means he knows a lot about me. I don't want to praise myself. Rather, talk to the people of Keta, and they will tell you what I've done, and I'm still impacting lives in Keta Constituency".
Going into the December polls, he said "This coming election is going to be a shocking one and is going to be a history".
Yayra also mentioned that he has done some humanitarian work in the constituency, including rehabilitating school blocks, constructing culverts, and providing teaching and learning materials to schools.
He said he had made efforts to tackle flooding in the Keta Constituency, adding that, Keta needs someone who can bring about infrastructural development and economic freedom, and he is prepared to do that for the people of Keta.
He urged the constituents to vote for Kofi Akpaloo to become the next President of Ghana to make his dreams for the constituency materialise without hindrances.
