Flagbearer of the Convention People's Party (CPP), Nana Frimpomaa Akosua Sarpong Kumankumah says her party is committed to supporting the youth of the country.
According to her, the CPP is focused on providing solutions to the challenges that Ghanaians face, particularly the youth, as they are the future of the country.
Speaking on JoyNews’ AM Show on September 23 she said, “With the spirit of Osagyefo, CPP is committed to helping the youth of Ghana. You are frustrated, we understand. We are with you. You are the Ghana of today. Go ahead, use your thumb and take over power.”
In addition, the flagbearer stated that the CPP is determined to empower Ghanaians to take charge of their economy and ensure that they reap the full benefits of the country's natural resources, rather than relying on foreign investors.
“We are a global world. We need to bring foreigners and investors but the foreign investors must come to partner with Ghanaians. They must not come to take ownership. The foreign investors should not go to Madina market and start to build a mall where the market women are displaced.”
“We will make it so that the market women can now own that mall and be part of it. We are bringing ownership but to government,” she said.
