Asante Kotoko came from behind to draw on matchday three of the Ghana Premier League on Sunday, September 22.
Emmanuel Antwi scored a belter with minutes away from full time to ensure the Porcupine Warriors avoided defeat in their first home game of the 2024/25 season, ending 1-1.
Young Apostles came into the game at the back of a 0-0 draw in their fixture against Nations FC in their second game.
The newly promoted side had failed to score in any of their opening two games since their debut in the top flight.
After 45 minutes with no goals in the fixture, the away side broke the deadlock six minutes into the second half.
Daniel Lomotey opened the scoring for Young Apostles to give them the lead against the Porcupine Warriors.
Antwi grabbed the equaliser for the Porcupine Warriors in the 76th minute.
The new signing's shot from long range beat the Young Apostles goalkeeper to tie the game.
However, neither of the two teams was able to find the winner in the final minutes of the game with the encounter ending 1-1.
The result means Kotoko have four points from their first two games of the season while Young Apostles are still winless after three games.
Kotoko face Berekum Chelsea in their next league game while Young Apostles will be up against Aduana FC.
