GIPC opens entries for 21st Ghana Club 100 Awards

Yofi Grant, GIPC’s CEO

The Ghana Investment Promotion Centre (GIPC) has officially opened applications for the 21st edition of the prestigious Ghana Club 100 (GC100) awards, scheduled to take place on October 11, 2024.

Under the theme "Fostering Domestic Champions: Building Local Capacity," the event will celebrate 100 standout companies in Ghana's business sector for their outstanding achievements across various industries.

According to GIPC’s CEO, Yofi Grant, the GC100 awards scheme has established itself as a vital platform for promoting corporate excellence and strengthening Ghana's business landscape.

“The GC100 awards scheme has proven to be a powerful vehicle for promoting Ghana's corporate capacity through innovative media, while securing government support to enhance the corporate sector's competitiveness,” said Mr. Grant.

Eligible companies for the awards must be limited liability firms, though those with government interest can participate as long as government ownership remains below 50%, unless listed on the Ghana Stock Exchange.

Mr. Grant also urged all qualifying companies to submit their applications by completing the online form on the GIPC website (https://www.gipc.gov.gh/ghana-club-100-entries/). The deadline for submissions has been extended to September 27, 2024.

This year’s event will maintain the tradition of including executive networking sessions, an awards ceremony, and lively post-event celebrations.
