Asante Kotoko have chosen the Len Clay Sports Stadium in Obuasi as their temporary home venue for the ongoing season.
The club made this decision following the closure of the Baba Yara Stadium by the National Sports Authority for renovation works.
CAF withdrew its approval of the Kumasi-based stadium due to persistent issues, including an “unsuitable playing field” during the Black Stars’ 1-0 loss to Angola in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier.
The Sports Ministry has already directed the National Sports Authority (NSA) to “resolve issues” with the pitch.
However, it remains unclear when the facility will be ready and available for Kotoko.
Until then, the Porcupines will continue to use the Len Clay Stadium as their home venue.
The players and technical team are expected to train at the venue on Friday ahead of their fixture against Young Apostles.
