The Manhyia South Constituency in the Ashanti Region came alive as the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) vice presidential candidate, Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh, led a massive health walk, drawing thousands of enthusiastic supporters.
The weekend event saw party faithful from all corners of Kumasi rallying behind their leaders in a vibrant show of support.
The streets of Kumasi were awash in NPP colours as supporters dressed in party paraphernalia marched through the city.
The event not only celebrated fitness but also served as a demonstration of the party's strength in the region. The energy and excitement of the crowd underscored their dedication to the party's vision.
Among the prominent figures in attendance were NPP General Secretary Justin Kodua Frimpong, MP for Bantama Francis Asenso Boakye, Subin Parliamentary Candidate Eugene Boakye Antwi, Tafo MP Vincent Asafua, and Asawase Parliamentary Candidate Manaf Ibrahim. Their presence highlighted the party's commitment to engaging with grassroots supporters.
The health walk brought daily activities in the constituency to a standstill, with chants and cheers ringing out as supporters voiced their enthusiasm for the NPP. The event showcased the party’s determination to retain power in the upcoming elections.
