The Media Coalition Against Galamsey today, September 11, held a press conference at the Press Center in Accra.
The group has since demanded a ban on illegal mining which is destroying the environment and polluting water bodies.
The Media Coalition Against Illegal Mining, Christian Council, Catholic Bishops Conference, and Ghana Journalists Association have united to urge President Akufo-Addo to declare a total ban on galamsey.
