Floods from torrential rains killed at least 11 people in the provinces of Tata, Tiznit and Errachidia in south Morocco, authorities said in a preliminary death toll on Sunday.
At least nine others were missing after floods swamped many villages in the area, authorities added. The floods destroyed 40 homes and damaged 93 roads, as well as electricity, water supply and phone networks.
