The National Democratic Congress (NDC) flagbearer for election 2024, John Dramani Mahama, will submit his nomination papers for the 2024 presidential election on Monday, September 9, 2024.
This was confirmed by Joyce Bawah Mogtari, the spokesperson for Mahama's campaign, who highlighted the importance of the filing and the campaign's focus on unity and economic reform.
Mogtari stated, “This is a momentous occasion for the NDC as we gear up to build the Ghana we want together. Our campaign focuses on jobs, accountability, development, and a better future for all Ghanaians,”.
Ahead of the filing, Mahama will begin a four-day tour of the Bono Region on Sunday, visiting all 12 constituencies.
The #Mahama4Change2024 tour will include meetings with traditional and religious leaders, as well as community engagement and a visit to the Bono Regional House of Chiefs.
Additionally, Mahama will hold a youth forum at the Sunyani Technical University, where he is expected to share his vision for revitalizing the economy and boosting employment through innovative policies.
