In the vibrant heart of Accra where the pulse of creativity beats furiously, one name emerging as a beacon of influence in events is Marcus Worthington Lewis popularly known in the entertainment scene as Khalifa of Accra.
He is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Khalis Empire and the Co-Founder of Youth Excellence Awards.
He is a dynamic individual redefining the influencer landscape in Ghana and beyond. With a keen eye for trends, an innate ability to connect with audiences, and a flair for innovative marketing strategies, Khalifa of Accra is not just an influencer; he is a force of nature.
His company Khalis Empire established in the early days of social media rise has swiftly climbed the ranks to become a leading event marketing agency in Ghana, specializing in influencer marketing, brand consultancy, and digital strategy.
Khalifa’s vision was clear from the outset to harness the power of social media to create authentic connections between event brands and consumers.
“I saw the potential of social media early on. Ghana has a rich culture and a young, dynamic population so I wanted to create a platform where meaningful event companies could engage meaningfully with their audience while promoting our unique Ghanaian identity through events,” he said.
Khalifa’s approach to influencing is refreshingly genuine. He doesn’t just promote brands; he creates partnerships that resonate with his followers. By carefully curating his collaborations, he ensures that every endorsement aligns with his values and those of his audience. This authenticity is what sets him apart in an industry often plagued by superficiality.
What truly differentiates him from the rest is what many describe as the “Khalifa Effect.” Brands he partners with frequently report increased engagement, enhanced brand loyalty, and a notable rise in sales. His unique ability to generate buzz around events allows clients to achieve their goals swiftly and effectively.
He has hosted a couple of events from 2018 and he has also been a promoter for major events like Club Shandy Pool Rave at Milton Hotel Mile 7 2018, Youth Excellence Awards 2020, Silver Star Tower, Problem In Accra at ClubRave 2023, Nocturnals At Club Rave 2023, and in 2024, he hosted All white Ting (Champagne Cruise ) at Garage, Heat and Vibes inside Koruna Night Club, Chapter 24 inside koruna Night Club, Galatic Night at Losbabados.
The event Maestro was a key promoter for one of the biggest carnivals in South Africa, Afropianofest (Afropiano Festival) among other great events in Africa.
Khalifa of Accra was one of organizers for the Garage All Black Party on the 18th of August inside Garage.
