More than €3,000 (£2,500) worth of vaping products containing suspected cannabis have been seized by Gardai (Irish police) after searches in County Donegal.
Sixty-six vapes and two bottles of oil, containing suspected illegal cannabinoids (THC, HHC and HHCP), were seized following police searches in Bundoran and Donegal Town on 22 August 2024.
The searches followed on from enquiries by officers into reports of a medical incident, in which a member of the public had fallen ill.
All items that were seized by An Garda Síochána (the Irish police service) are now subject to analysis by Forensic Science Ireland (FSI).
